Hi guys, I've been looking at this site for a while and decided to create an account and ask a question as I haven't seen the answer. I have a 2013 Super 8 50 2T that I just bought in a non-running condition. I've fixed scooters before but never had a Kymco or a 2T so I'm looking for some help.
The scooter was acting weird (pulling brake lever turned on turn signal, etc.) so I unplugged/plugged in the starter relay and that seemed to sort out the issues. However when I go to use the electric ignition I hold the brake and push the starter and nothing. No click no spinning starter motor just no response at all. I was wondering if that could be because the starter relay was bad or if you guys had any other ideas?
I have a multimeter and can test for different things like continuity, voltage, etc. if you give me some instruction of what to look for. Please let me know if you can help I really want to finish this project without a shop.

the brake lever makes the turn signal go on? check your grounds under the front, there should be a ground bolted in for multiple wires, this sounds like it's taking an alternative ground path through the brake light switch

It was doing that until I unplugged/plugged the starter relay so that issue is resolved at least
