Already have 2k clutch springs, 1500 toraue spring and weights tuned where i need them(5 gr., 4.5 gr didnt help), decent takeoff and hitting 44 at 10k rpm. Stock except for tecnigas next-r pipe. I want it to have a hard take off, i see sone people talking about being able to do wheelies, not trying to wheelie but not sure where to go to achieve this. Not wanting to do a bbk yet either. Btw im also 280lbs so that could effect it also

drbob, have you fitted an over range/sports variator yet,the polini kit I fitted to mine helped take off improve it uses 6.9 rollers so has bottom end grunt and steady accel. And yes the more robust you are the harder your engine has to work.I,d try some heavy rollers in the stock variator to see what changes a cheap fix might do.

You should try to make and post a video. It would be really helpful, but from my experience a tuned pipe needs lighter rollers and stiffer clutch springs. What you are trying to accomplish is to get the motor into its powerband at the point that the clutch engages, which will also give you that nice kick in the pants when taking off. I would try starting off though with yellow mallosi clutch springs (I'd suggest others, but mallosi are what I know). I think red springs would be too stiff for your pipe. As to what you need roller weight wise, I'm not sure, so I'd suggest you get some tuning weights that start at 4 gram and go to 5 gram. I always recommend the Stage6 tuning weights since they last for a while and you can actually get new outer shells when they start to wear out. Just my two

+1 on the stiffer clutch springs. Allows the engine to rev more before the clutch engages. 1,500 contra spring should be right with the lighter rollers. Heavier roller will max out the variator too soon, giving you less performance at lower speeds.

More power is the best way to take off hard. BBK would go a long way for improving acceleration. Tuned pipes rob you of low end power, so you definitely have to get RPM up at launch if you want it to be quick off the line. A lot of times people end up with the belt shifting positions before launch when trying to tune for high revs at the start, so watch out for that. You're shifting out of the best takeoff ratios if that happens.
My OR kit doesn't like to be at low revs and is good for quickly raising RPM on launch. I'm sure nice clutches make a difference too, I've just never put the cash out to try a good one so I can't say from experience.
I think heavy riders will always struggle with quick snap displays of power. I'm heavy too and it seems like something has to give when I snap the throttle open. I can get wheelies sometimes (100cc 2T though), but mostly the clutch/CVT slips enough that I don't get that jolt.
