Not really my line but it looks like modernish French import (millions of puch in Europe). You would have to check with your local auth if you can get tags for it,more of a collectors scoot than the rip and burn scoots used on this forum.Restored and reg you,d get £300 over here in the UK,it might just be garage art in the US with your emission laws.Look deep before you leap geoff

If you can get it for a good price I'd get it. 8-10 years ago I'd buy, sell and part out mopeds on the cheap. You could find them for $100-200 everyday of the week. Lately I've seen them for $500 and up, way up. I believe those are the desirable "snowflake" wheels. I've seen them sell for a few hundred alone. What are your plans for it? If you need a title in your state you could use motorecycle.com or just Vermont DMV site to get one.

A clean stock Magnum usually runs for about 800 to 1000 or so around here. Rough, a few hundo less. I think most of the value is in the wheels, but the Magnum is generally one of the more sought after 'peds. These are very mod-able.
I lifted the following from Moped Army:
"The MKII from '78-'79 was silver with green stripes and decals and had snowflake mag wheels, the two speed ZA50 motor, and is fitted with oil injection. Front and rear suspension was hydraulic, which is heavier but makes for a much smoother ride."
If I had that I don't think I'd sell it.

That one looks too cool. It has pedals, so I don't think it would be a problem registering it as a moped.

I would get it. Mopeds are coming back and that one looks like a good one to have around.

I think if it has pedals it doesn't need registration in some states. Legally a bike w a motor on it.
