For whatever reason(4 times now) i lose fuel and can try all day to start it and it will not start until i put a shot of gas in the engine(either by intake or plug). Only tjing i can think of is the fuel vacuum petcock maybe but it pumps fuel when im tryong to start it.im lost and dont know where to go with it.

why not check the vacuum hoses for small cracks for getting fuel from the petcock to carburetor some have move the one hose and others could cause a slight drop of vacuum at a crank.

Small possibility that it MIGHT be soft seizing. A spurt of gas or ether will help it to start back as long as its a small seize. Could be the vacuum petcock, could be a sticking reed or a leaking case causing the vacuum to weaken and fail.

Idk about seizing. When it does die i can try to start it either electric or kick start and it cranks just doesnt start. Checked for spark and the plug boot and that doesnt seem to be the issue either.

Try taking the gas cap off and see if it starts after that. Maybe a venting issue.
