The schematic shows the CDI: 'B' wire going to DC power. 'G' wire is ground. 'B/Y' wire is to the + coil terminal. The 'G' coil wire goes to the kickstand safety switch to be grounded, just ground it for testing. The 'R/W' wire is shown as both AC power and the ignition timing impulse??? The 'Gr/W' wire is the ignition 'Kill' wire thru the theft module, and grounded when the ignition is turned off.
All of that would have to be confirmed since the schematic may be 'off'...
I think a standard DC powered CDI could be used with a little rewiring and maybe a standard ignition pickup coil that is not wired through the stator.
