What's up guys about a month ago I got a new carb and had some issues with the throttle and finally figured it out but the last few days my bike will fire up no problem once it gets warm it shuts off and.won't start. I got a new plug and no go. What could it be?

Stance, maybe you should go back to your original post so people can follow the trail to this event,my shot from the hip is that your auto lube isn,t set right and it,s soft seizing, hope I,m wrong though.

Took the carb apart and cleaned it and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary?? How can I tell if I'm not getting oil? There was oil in the carb when I took it off. Normal amounts. I got it to start rev up normally went to 10,000 rpm kept revving and let go and it went to idle and died out and wouldn't start back up. When I pulled my plug its wet and black.

I kick my bike and nothing seems like it seized. Tired to start it and nothing sounds different. Some time it pitters and putters but won't run.

Is your idle high enough to maintain an idle? Try adjusting your idle screw in.

i literally touched nothing and my bike just started acting funny when starting but now it wont start at all. just got back from getting a new set of plugs tried a brand new one in it pitterd then died.. im getting fuel and there is oil in the little brass tapered piece on the carb so what else could i try? i made sure my intake manifold bolts were tight. now i know my air box tube is ripped but i fixed it kind of and it ran no problem... really frustrated with it right now. any ideas would be great thanks

ok so got the bike to start up and idle for about 10 mins. so i called it a night.. just on a fluke i went out and tried to start it. well it fired up and idled for a few moments then died out... every time i try to start it it will run for a bout 5 seconds then cut out. but always trys to start again.. have my idle screw the whole ways in and out and both react about the same... soooo lost on where to look..

Is this piece crucial? I think I ordered this same carb and can't remember if that black little tube facing down. If it had fallen off or something could that be my issue? What is it a breather? Can I just cut a little gas line rubber and throw it over?

ok i know im posting alot lol but i grabbed the old black tube off of my old carb slapped it on and still nothing..... i contacted the place i got my carb to see if they will swap me one out because this issue happend apparently on its own. after i installed the new carb had to put on my old throttle tube on took a test spin and everything was ok so i didnt touch anything going smooth for about a month and the last few days just noticed my scoot was running weird and now we are here.

Are the jet sizes in the new carb even the same size as the old? The chances of slapping a new carb on and it being perfectly tuned for your setup are pretty slim. At least swap over the old jets from your old carb if you can. To actually go through a carb tuning process would be even better but using your old jets should at least get you close to where it was...

alirght got the bike to start again tried to take it down the road and as soon as i hit like 10mph it boggs out and dies out.. will start again but wont let me touch the throttle.. when it is on its stands and the rear tire is off the ground. it will rev out no problem. once you introduce any sort of load on it it boggs out.. tried everything mixture and idle screw wise and cant get it.. and i dont think it is the jets because it was running just fine up untill these last few days. but if you think it could work i could try it? (if you think its worth trying)

If your airbox and intake are secure you may of got some dirt in the jets. Clean them out it doesn't take much to make a motor run poorly. Another possibility is water in your fuel either from being outside or contamination.
Edit: Did you ever fix your intake/airbox from a previous post?

Well I taped the ripped part on the tube. Unfortunately it's right at the inlet for the carb but it ran fine like that. I took my carb apart and cleaned the jets out last night.

Have you tried new fuel to rule out bad gas?
