Need photo for correct oil and gas line connections for inherited 2009 SYM Jet Euro x 50cc 2 stroke. Sym's on line manual show's a set up illustration that I find impossible to connect the oil line to the carburetor.
Can you eliminate the oil auto feed and run premix gaS. IF SO, what needs to be disconnected apart from the main oil line in? Appreciate any inputs you have. Haven't found any shop that will work on SYM products inRhode Island
Thanks again

Here's a quick setup for you (lucky my bench is a mess) If you want to convert to premix easiest is to either remove the plastic gear from the crank (requires pulling flywheel) or removing oil pump. Preferred premix for stock scoot would be somewhere between 40:1-50:1. The oil line would go from the small fitting on pump to the small fitting on carb. Bigger line on pump to oil tank supply. Fuelfrom vacuum petcock or shutoff to (usually) brass vertical fitting on carb. I'm not familiar with your exact scoot but these general guidelines should help.

It appears your oil line into the carb is missing.

that's exactly my problem-theres no way the oil line will fit onto the oil inlet on the carburetor Is there a nipple of some sort that will fit on the limited groves shown on my scooter? I cut off part of the oil line to have a sample for sizing purposes. Bear with me, I really appreciate your inputs. I've got two left hands when it comes to my mechanical abilities. Thanks again Ryan

The oil line in from the oil tank is connected properly; however I do not see the oil line out to the carburator? No loose lines. Is it possible its delivered elsewhere? Sorry to be such a rookie in theses matters, just don't want to give up. The gas system seems to be functioning properly and I double checked the float and it seems to be setting at the proper level However, while I can smell gas, I don't think its getting to the throttle valve cable. If I put some gas directly into the throttle base, it will fire up at a high rev ands then die,
Is the vacuum hose from the carburetor connected to something or is it free to emit fume fumes? Appreciate your staying with me for a while. Only name brands in the future....hoping to sell my SYM cheep and get into either a Honda PC150 or s Yamaha SMax. Comments?

You may need to find a piece of small tuning to insert where the oil line goes into the carb. It may actually be at the correct spot but I don't see where you would get a vacuum source for a petcock. Is your fuel operated by a vacuum petcock or just gravity feed with a shutoff valve?
