Dellorto 19mm stage 6 carb, jets, new throttle cable and cf reeds for the Zuma. Any tips on installing these? Pretty straight forward? I know the carb is supposed to be "easier" to swap jets out. Not sure about that. Any suggestions would be great to avoid issues I may have. Stock jet was 73? So I'm guessing I should stay around that? Or maybe go with a 80 and work my way back down? Even though the carb is larger (getting ready for the bbk next spring) I don't think there is much more airflow because of the stock airbox and exhaust. Right?

Start rich and work down, less risk to the engine. Did you get dell needles too?

No just the W7 needle that came with it It has four slots and it's on the second one from the top

W7 is a highly recommended starting needle. If you find that you are midthrottle rich on one slot, then move the needle one leaner and gets too lean, you might need a richer (longer taper) needle. But other folks here can help get you dialed perfect better than i can

Check out the carb related topics here : www.49ccscoot.com/faq/faq.htmlI would start larger than an 80 with the Dell. Prob in the 90s and work down if needed. I've never bought a 19mm, but my 21mm Dells came with 92 main jets. I assume the 19mm wouldn't be far off. Most of mine use 95-105 mains with a stock airbox with a mod to the inlet.
