I bought a new CVT cover and am having trouble removing the bearing in the CVT cover that the end of the rear clutch pulley goes in. Any advice for getting this out?

Try packing it full of grease and shoving something into the bearing that's the same size as the part of the shaft that normally goes into it. It's sorta like a hydraulic ram.

I've read of people using bread for the same purpose. Would probably work better for open bearings where you would loose the grease between the balls.

They need to be replaced in mine too often (I buy 'em in 10 packs on eBay), so I just drill a hole slightly larger than the center of the bearing in the cover. Then I use a punch to knock it out. Heating the cover makes it easier. I heat the cover when the bearing is ready to go back in and use freeze spray (duster held upside-down) on the bearing (or put the bearing in the freezer for a couple of hours at least).
