It came with a 50 pilot jet and I was told to go with a 40 or so. I ordered a 38 and put it in today. It runs pretty good-with the a/f screw turned out 4-5 turns. I'm guessing I need a larger pilot now? What do you think? Like a 42? 45? Acceleration is pretty seamless without any flat spots but when I FIRST start (with 2 turns out) it was bogging really bad and would cut out. When I backed it out to 4-5 it accelerates really good.

4-5 turns out is pushing that pilot jet so I would so yes you need a larger pilot. The 40 would probably be better. Which needle and slide are you using?

I am using W7 needle 1 notch from top, 85 main, 38 pilot, If I am at 4-5 turns out on a/f screw I'm thinking like a 42 pilot? I'll order a 42&45 because I will probably be going bbk next spring anyway. Sound good? Treat here I come!!!

Try to put the needle to second from top that should richen it a bit. If you do that you might have to adjust the main jet again and mixture screw. Try mixture screw to 1.5 turns out and see how that goes.

Thanks guys. I love tinkering with things but there's too many variables in a carburetor!!!! It gets a little confusing at times. Maybe that's why I love scooters so much. Haha
