Hey guys, my name is William and I was looking at installing new performance parts onto my 2011 Pgo Pmx Naked 50 or the Genuine Rattler 50 in the US, since I lack experience in working on motor vehicles since im only 17, I was just looking for advice and any knowledge on what motor I have before splashing the little money I have on parts. Since doing research I was looking at installing a 100cc big bore kit, 100cc carburetor, race exhaust and a race cdi box. I have looked into what engine I could have and I know its a 2 stroke but im not 100 percent sure what motor it's I believe its a Minarelli 1E40qmb engine but I haven't been able to confirm this. I was also wondering if anyone could give me some advice on the value and piston pin measurements of the engine before purchasing parts. Thanks for the help -William

Here those are Genuine Roughhouse's. They are already a pretty fast scoot stock. They just need to have some CVT tuning and the washer thats on the boss drive in the variator removed. Here is a video on how to remove the washer, its pretty long but it will help you orient yourself to the scooter. Here is a thread on Modern Buddy that will help too. As far as CVT tuning Brent has a great thread here. These are all very cheap and will gain you some speed. Since you lack experience trying to go to a 100cc with the scoot will be way beyond your skill level, look for a Buck-Ten if you want that. Ride the scoot for a while before you add a 70cc BBK and a performance exhaust. I would also suggest you do some research here before you attempt any real wrenching on the scoot.

I have a 2015 pmx & have done these mods which are all easy. After market racing cdi, simply plug in where the old one was. Fitted a technigas performance exhaust system.(had to remove a restriction washer) fitted a better variator with slightly lighter rollers. Off the line my PGO matches my worked 70cc Peugeot Blaster. The PGO is good for about 82kph. Not bad for limited easy mods.
