I recently just purchased a TaoTao 50cc scooter and when I ride it, it tends to stall when I come to a light or stop sign unless I constantly rev the throttle. any suggestions on how to fix it? (I don't know much about scooters) Thanks

Needs either more air or more fuel. With a stock carb your only choice is more air, after warming up screw in the idle screw until it's idling at a desired speed

Have you changed the oil? The tao taos come pretty bare bones and many people on here have stated that you MUST go through and do a 'final inspection's and swap fluids/tighten bolts.

Lots of good suggestions here but one other thing is to check the valve adjustment. Tight valves can cause stalling at idle type problems too. A little loose is better than a little tight.
Good luck, Greg

I agree with Greginism, if you didn't check the valves when you got it that is a good place to start.
