So- I got a deal on a combo kit (regulator, rectifier, coil n wire, and cdi) This is for a 2015 Tao Tao 150cc Quantum Tour. I've got 15,ooo kilometers on it. My burning question is......Should I install all these new parts, even though I really don't have any issues with the way she's running? I think I should for sure put the coil n wire on, spark plug wires only last so long, right?! Thank you for any n all input

The seals around the plug wires are the first things to dry out and admit water then the wires, but you are ahead of the game.

It's a moot point, as the parts are wrong for this scoot. oh well

Why not try them now while your scoot is running well. If they don’t work, no sense in keeping them. It would be totally frustrating to install bad parts on a non running scooter.

Out of all those parts the only thing that might make a difference is the new CDI. Make the intake and exhaust flow better, that will make a bigger difference.
