Hey I have a 50cc gy6 that's fully built. The 8 pole stator I'm using I believe is not capable of charging right and need to go to a 11 pole. I would like to know what to do with the fourth wire?

you need to change the regulator as well as the stator, 11 pole are three phase, call them up at NYC scooter parts, he can get you a high quality stator, flywheel, and six wire regulator for about 100 bucks, you have to wire it yourself, but there are wiring diagrams all over the net. the six wire regulators also have a voltage sense wire, I just put in an X pro 8 pole which seems to be high quality, but it's just until I do my 11 pole conversion

I already have a performance regulator. Well I know that there are 6 wire's. I Justknow what 5 of them do.

what color is the wire? you should have three phase wires, a ground wire, your usual CDI power wire, and the trigger wire lead. the 6 pole regulator should also have an AC out i believe for the enricher

on the 11 pole it should still have the blue white wire, which goes to the pickup, which of course sits outside the flywheel, the black and red goes to your CDI like stock, the three phase wires go to the regulator, the yellow wires, and it probably has a green ground wire, which runs up and grounds near the regulator, it's just a redundant ground wire. the regulator should have three phase wires in, a ground wire, a wire to the enricher, a wire to the headlights, a wire to the battery for charge, or to the battery terminal at the solenoid, plus a voltage sense wire
