Has anyone drove the zuma fx? I wonder what happened with switching over to 4 stroke besides the 2 Stroke zumas. Are they quick as the 2 stroke zumas? I'm fairly new to 4 strokes. Are they more complicated than 2 strokes to upgrade the head, crankshaft, or the cvt trans? I ran across a 2014 for 1000 and was wondering if it is worth it.

I'm pretty sure the 4 stroke Zuma is both slower and harder to work on, but that's just my guess. If the motor is the same as the 4 stroke vino, a 2 stroke minarelli should bolt right in! I found they got similar mounting points.

The 4t Zuma is like the vino 4t and the c3. Fuel injected and Rev limited with the computer. They use a Trans like the 2t Zuma. Lighter rollers and stiffer clutch springs would help. Next mod would be gears. My c3 is about 2 mph slower than my 2t 50cc Zuma with a pipe. Wfo sitting up. If you don't hear the exhaust note soften when it hits the Rev limiter (retards timing) the fuel pump is weak other wise it should make enough power to run against the limiter. Stock rollers are heavy and the motor never really gets into the power until the cvt is all done and rpm's come up. Bbk requires something being done with the fuel injection. The run good and gears should put you mid to low 40's gps
