How much fuel can the TaoTao ATM50-A1's gas tank hold? And what is the most average MPG that it usually gets for longer travel? Thanks!

They usually hold a bit over a gallon and get well over 50 miles to the gallon. Been a while since messing with 4 strokes, but I'm pretty sure those numbers are correct.

Honestly. It depends on how much you weigh. With such a low hp you can shift the power to weight ratio drastically which will drastically effect your gas mileage.

If you can fit 2 bucks into your tank you were empty. Hah

Most scooter tanks are usually 1-1.3 gallons. European scooters(Derbi, Beta, and others) seem to hold almost 2 gallons or a little more. My ZX50's hold this much. I verified the container on the right @ 1 gallon with the tape marker. This is the container used. (for reference) I did this to verify my funky fuel gauge. When past the red, it still had a 1/2 gallon of gas.

mine will hold about 1 3/4 gallons from dry. i've got space under my tank, I've seriously thought about modifying a new tank with some extra capacity, and a different outlet, the fuel gauge would only read the original capacity, but you can calculate the extra mileage from E.

I have a sunni style, with the metal tank, I wonder if the plastic holds less then the metal?

I actually measured my ATM50's fuel tank capacity a little while back with graduated beakers and it held 1.45 gallons. I ran it out of fuel before that (carrying a gallon of fuel with me so I wouldn't be stranded) and was surprised when it made it just shy of 120 miles because I was thinking it held barely over 1 gallon. I'm heavy and ride WOT mostly, but I still get 75-85MPG average.
