Have you taken anything apart to inspect it yet? That's my first thought. Maybe you'll see what is wrong. Gear oil may be full of "glitter". Maybe bearings will feel or sound rough.

Is this the scoot with the oval wheel? It helps if you continue on the same thread and tell us when you find a problem.

the fact that the wheel is oval would have something to do with this. also many of the factory chinese tires are complete crap, and are out of round brand new.

Maybe the bent rear wheel you have? You said it was oval shaped

You post your rear wheel is oval, then you post you can't figure out why it vibrates, then you blame the engine? It's probably leaking oil and breaking things, because your bent rear wheel is jackhammering it to death. Keep riding it with a bent rear wheel, and it's eventually go to fracture the rim, then you won't have to worry about the engine anymore, after the scooter goes out of control, because your rear wheel passed you.

It would be helpful for you to answer the questions, it does help to aid in troubleshooting your problem. So far a bent or oval rear tire or wheel. I have been in cars with unbalanced rear tires and the entire car would shake at road speeds, why wouldn't a ~200lb scooter do the same thing. You are still dealing with that issue I think since you never mentioned it being fixed? Greg
