If I remember its a torx screw, or should I say that's what I think I got it out with.

One method of removing stubborn bolts is to use a punch at 90 to the head to make an indendation in the head and then move the punch to shove the bolt in the right direction, much easier done with the engine out.

I got it loose with a hammer and chisel like one would a stripped bolt. I was just paranoid it was some strange rivet thing. What is up with TGB and their tamper proof stuff? This was on a friend's bike. On my bikes I found 5 point internal socket head bolts on one exhaust and 7 point on another. Those will drive you insane until you look close enough to realize it isn't a Torx or Allen head.

This is probably what your bolt started off as. You tighten the bolt till the head breaks off. Security/tamper free FYI, the ignition lock uses the same bolts.
