So after a hard starting issue, drive train vibration, and a horrible compression test I replaced the following. New 80cc bbk New fuel lines and filter New variator and clutch
Took about 4 hours start to finish and less than $90. Its hard to say about starting cause its 23 degrees here but after i got it warmed up i took it for a slow varying speed trip around the neighborhood. Changed the oil and set the idle. Now she fires right up when hot. But i let it sit for about 2 hours. Will crank like crazy, but will inly fire if i hook up jumper cables. It doesnt crank any faster but it fires right up. When it cold it takes 2 or 3 kicks but starts and idles good. Im wondering if maybe my spark is too weak while cranking?. Either way Ill put a few hundred miles on it, re torque every and check valves.
