On one of my scoots to get a good squish I just used the copper spray and it works fine.

ok guys just came back inside from messing with scoot.. there is a head gasket there but there looked to be a gap. so i tightened up the head bolts a little bit and the bike wants to seem to start up easier.. i was in the middle of a video and my phone died. i at least got pictures of the head and gasket. i was getting the bike to fire up then die right out.. sometimes started with out throttle. sometimes with throttle.. messed with idle speed and air mixture to try to get it to run and still no go.. i got it to fire up good twice and had it running with throttle probably around 5,000 rpm. held throttle steady and just dies..

Yeah you definetley have a head gasket leak. All that oil spray on your head and even on your cylinder and cylinder stud is a no go. Pick up a complete gasket set. Take your your exhaust, head and cylinder off. Check for seize marks in the cylinder and on the piston. If none are present. Clean all your gasket surfaces as best you can. And put your cylinder and head back on with a new gasket set in place. Your getting closer.

I cant find just a gasket set only them individually. The only set i can find is one with a new top end.

Lol what the heck i couldnt find that. Could you circle the ones i would need? Do you think it would be cheaper just to buy the 2 i need? I mean i know it would be cheaper but im assuming shipping would hurt me on 6 dollars worth of parts lol.

never mind shipping is really cheap. ill order the gasket kit asap. but like i asked before. i should be able to take the cylinder off by just sliding it off right? and i know the big gasket is crank case and i know now what the head and base gasket are but what are the rest?? if someone would be kind enough to describe them to me that be great!!

I would normally reference a 90gtvert video to learn from. But in this case this video has good positioning and is easy to learn from. This video starts after the exhaust has been removed. youtu.be/i5aVtzvld7g You won't be needing to remove your piston. So don't worry about that part. Just focus on cleaning all your gasket surfaces without damaging them.

It took me like three variations of search to find. I swear one requirement of selling scooter parts is to have a nonintuitive search system on your site.
