Check here for belt size : www.49ccscoot.com/faq/whatbelt.htmlAre you looking for a standard replacement variator or trying to find an upgrade? PartsForScooters, ebay sellers, and many more carry standard replacements. Search for something like "139QMB variator" or "GY6 50 variator". Just be sure it's for a 50 and not a 150 if you use the GY6 search term. If you want aftermarket, Malossi part # 5113790 is a quality piece. You can also get a genuine Koso or HOCA/SSP-G from Parts For Scooters. Be careful buying Koso anywhere else as they are known to have a lot of cheap knockoffs of poor quality. Polini makes a variator as well that should be good. DrPulley offers one, though it's I think the most expensive of them all. Don't fall for the $20-30 DLH or Gixal stuff IMO. Known to fail prematurely, when you could spend double and get something that lasts way longer.

Price don't matter to me if the quality is there my friend replace the belt last year and only got like 1000 miles on it but I haven't taken it apart yet to see what the problem is he paid over 130 bucks to replace the belt and I had to order a key switch so it runs to see what the problem is..I just don't wanna take it apart and have it sitting with the pieces laying around and waiting for the parts to come I would rather order all the parts then take it apart and replace the belt variator and clutch all at once and price don't matter to me I do things rite or don't do them at all when it comes to fixing my scooters..no half ass repairs for this guy

If price is no concern, I'd prob choose the Malossi. Others are good too. The DrP is most expensive, but I don't know that you'll get anything more from it. Malossi comes with a contra spring too. I'd advise preparing for some tuning. Dial the weights in (again I prefer sliders, they last longer and may outperform rollers). Stock clutches usually work fine, but you can get whole rear pulley assemblies with aftermarket parts too. Make sure you get a good belt... a Bando or Gates. Steer clear of Chinese knockoff belts.

Brent's advice is totally on point. For a QMB engine, the KOSO is obnoxiously good on a stock to mildly modified engine. Malossi, Polini and Dr. Pulley are more effective than the KOSO for that top end big power kind of build, but on a stock engine, I would say that there isn't a need for these higher priced items over the KOSO. It's that good. Our SSP-G variator is also a great option... but I really like that genuine KOSO unit, and it's become an easy recommendation for us.
