With my 50cc 4stroke chinese scooter , I have the usual CDI and carburetor and since I am at 6000km, in 4 years of service, the point of the revision by the official seller made me wonder if it is relevant to change the scooter for a new one, especially one by the brand SYM because it offers more space at the foot and the seat is more comfortable.
I discovered that the european norm EURO4 applies to any new scooter imported in Europe in 2018, and that the sellers can only sell a few scooters from their stock which complies to the previous norm, the norm EURO2 wherewith the usual GY6 carburetor is compatible.
first the price goes up by 200 euros, for instance the usual chinese scooter was around 1000 euros, mine was 1200 euros and now it is prices around 1400 euros.
For instance the korean [or taiwanese?] manufacturer SYM sells a FIDDLE III 50 compatible with EURO4
They call their carburetor ''ECS carburetor'' which would mean ''ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED CARBURETOR SYSTEM'' like in this service manual here [section 4-1]

Some people claim that it is an end to the 2-stroke scooter for a while and that many variants of scooters will stop being produced.
My questions are
-what are the pros and cons of fuel injection and those new carburetors against the usual carburetors ?
-Is a fuel injection always better than a manual carburetor when it comes to cold starts?
-whether this system can be tuned with those :

-can the controlled carburetor be taken down, and replaced by the usual carburetor [is there a CDI on those new systems??] ?
I wonder if it would not be better to keep my current chinese scooter, or even get the official seller to take back my current one and buy a brand new EURO2 chinese scooter before the end of the year.
