Im having trouble with variator i have after market one and it came with sleave and extra spacer i know it needs to line belt up but cant work out were to put and its a little bigger outside diamater than sleave but if i use were i think it needs to go. Doesnt look right and stops pullies from closing all the way like a restricted washer heres a pic new on the left Does it go were 1 2 3 Needs to be there some were or nuts dont go on all the way to were it should sit hope ive explained what im having trouble with thanks

Is the new sleeve the same length as the old sleeve? Or does the new sleeve plus the bushing equal to the length of the old sleeve? Seems like it should go behind the ramp plate of the variator. Also it appears as though that bushing is the the same thickness as the starter clutch, makes me think that it could function as a spacer if the starter clutch assembly is removed.

It,s been a while since I fitted my Polini hi speed,and the instruction leaflet was cr** I ended up removing the starter clutch and going kick start only.

Thanks for the input i worked it out what put me out was that sleave was shorter than stock and i just tryed in each position till i could see that it was right needed to be in the first pic anywere else the vairator didnt open fully or close fully so thanks again

Watch out. If the boss is too short you can screw up the splines on your crank when you tighten down the nut.
