I assume this is a four-stroke 139QMB? Is it just that it idles low perhaps when it's cold?

She must not be a morning scoot. Have you tried making a good cup of coffee for her first?

I would check the valve clearance adjustment. It has been long enough for the clearances to close up a bit, which could cause a poor idle. One other cause is water in the fuel. Has it been raining a lot or cold damp weather that would allow condensation to form in the tank? Normally water would cause intermittent misfire at speed also. tom
