Rider impairment may also be a contributing factor. "A traveler came upon an old farmer hoeing in his field beside the road. Eager to rest his feet, the wanderer hailed the countryman, who seemed happy enough to straighten his back and talk for a moment.
"What sort of people live in the next town?" asked the stranger.
"What were the people like where you've come from?" replied the farmer, answering the question with another question.
"They were a bad lot. Troublemakers all, and lazy too. The most selfish people in the world, and not a one of them to be trusted. I'm happy to be leaving the scoundrels."
"Is that so?" replied the old farmer. "Well, I'm afraid that you'll find the same sort in the next town.
Disappointed, the traveler trudged on his way, and the farmer returned to his work.
Some time later another stranger, coming from the same direction, hailed the farmer, and they stopped to talk. "What sort of people live in the next town?" he asked.
"What were the people like where you've come from?" replied the farmer once again.
"They were the best people in the world. Hard working, honest, and friendly. I'm sorry to be leaving them."
"Fear not," said the farmer. "You'll find the same sort in the next town."

Since I don't ride under the influence of anything including cold medicine silly monkey, I doubt that's what caused people to encroach into my lane, pull out in front of me etc.
But you keep being the idiot troll you're determined to be and I'll keep laughing at you.

I don't see the need for name calling here or accusations. I think tortoise makes a valid point with the sort of outlook tale. I'm not saying it's your fault what's happening though. I get mad briefly with traffic stuff too. Some people don't let it worry them. React as needed and move along, not letting one person's actions rain on your day. Easier said than done for some of us.
For your own safety, I would note that passing someone on the right and blowing the horn when you could have simply slowed down (first video) may not be the best move. With my luck the guy would be turning right back off the road at the next driveway and I'd be riding on his hood or under his tire. Can't trust him to see you or not slow you down pulling out, then can you trust him to see/hear you and use a turn signal or not swerve? Trust me, I'm one of those idiots that gets on the highway with the TMAX and wants to go right down the middle of traffic when cars hold me up side by side and stuff like that, but so far I've been good at telling myself it's not worth the risk or my honest main concern of the police involvement. Just because it's a bad idea doesn't mean it's not fun... but it may really suck and over what?

Do these things really bother you? You have tons of space ahead of you and to move around those cars? This happens to me daily, and it's not even the cars....it's the ignorant, texting, listening-to-music-not-hearing-anything cyclists. Remember, if you hit hem, you are to blame since cyclists are protected here in Holland. You're good peascreek, don't let it get to ya!

I have a similar problem with road idiots. But I recognize it's MY problem, not really there's. Sure, they drive stupid, but that happens. People make mistakes, sometimes purposefully. But getting all mad at it and cursing em every time they even think about wronging you isnt healthy. You n I are not the recess ladies of the road, we are not police, and we aren't these people's parents. We don't have the right to go crazy on these people. We gotta let it go.
I'll admit it. I smoke weed before I ride sometimes. But I don't do it often, I don't get 'crazy high', and I really only do it to slow myself down and take it easy. I ride much slower and give muchore following distance when I'm high, although I'm definitely not quite as aware haha. But if your mad at everybody your not enjoying the ride. Right?

You n I are not the recess ladies of the road, we are not police, and we aren't these people's parents. We don't have the right to go crazy on these people. We gotta let it go. Expletives fly from my lips every time someone does something that seems stupid to me on the road. It's hard to not react. I don't chase people around at scream at them or give them any sort of salutes generally, but it does make me angry. Some things I just can't see the reason for. Like when someone is coming head on into my lane and I have to swerve into the shoulder because they're driving around looking at their phone. That will always make me mad that you almost killed me prob over some mundane message that could wait 5 minutes. Sounds dramatic, but if my head were up... uh, in the clouds too, then we would have collided. Has only happened once that I can truly say that I had to avoid an imminent collision, but plenty of other times where the person looks up and swerves quickly. Will always make me mad. It all evens out though, because I seem to aggravate some people when I pass them. I even got yelled at in a car by a lady when I was in a drive-thru. They pulled me up to wait for food and she comes along honking and yelling "you're in my lane" because she wouldn't drive her Ford Escort through a gap that a big rig could have gone through. Motor vehicles have some special power that can turn some of us into enraged knuckleheads or blithering idiots for so many reasons that may or may not make any sense.

I encounter people who upon screwing up, give you the my bad wave, and I wave back.
I also give people who obviously see me and wait instead of trying to get in ahead of me a wave.
My game plan more and more takes me out of town away from it.
