I ordered a replacement cheap carb awhile back but I'm thinking it's maybe a 18mm and my original was 19mm. I used to hit 42 or 43 with old setup, no matter how I tune it it stumbles off the line and hits 40. Wanting a decent priced true 20mm carb I believe. Any help is appreciated

Vento zip clone, 1e40qmb short case. Even downhill at 40 it cuts out

Really shouldn't need a 19-21mm carb for what I'm assuming is a stock 1E40QMB w/a Next R exhaust (based on a quick look at recent posts). If you want one, the Dells that O'verse mentioned are good. Stock replacement likely works fine.
Sure it's the carb? What do you mean it cuts out at 40 even downhill? Is it shutting off, maybe a soft seize? Just won't go faster?

Love my genuine dellorto phbg 21mm with matching mlm 21mm intake I put together. It's definetly not a carb for noobs you can ruin your shit quick they say the 17-19 is easier to tune. I scored mine barely used on eBay for cheap carbs usually run $130+ Cheap ass knock offs are 50 screw those piece of shits don't buy fake knock off carbs all it takes is one passage way drilled off to make tuning a nightmare. Dellorto a are made in Italy the black race carbs are sexy as it gets and fast as hell I love mine it woke my bike up gained many mph but my bike is fully built it's very expensive to hit 60+.

What makes you say that? All it took me was tucking in nice and tight behind the legshield. And an Athena crank, Polini topend, V-Force reed block, 21mm PHBG, Stage6 Pro Replica pipe, Hoca variator, and a Malossi Delta clutch. I think I can pick up more with better tuning though.

But yeah, I was hitting 50+ on a 19mm PHBG. Last build I was hitting 45+ with a 15mm clone Mikuni. I think something other than your carb is your problem, or your carb needs help.
