, hey guys it's been a long time but here is my new problem doing a Big Bore Kit on a 50cc TaoTao I have tried to use the racing CDI that came with the kit and that does not work I tried getting a different CDI that was also for racing applications the orange one both of them do not work I have no spark if I use either one of those cdi's the only one that will work is the black one that came with it

Use the black one.
The 'racing' ones are notorious for being junk.

Frankenmechs correct that you should stay with the CDI you have. Did you up jet the carburetor yet, that larger cylinder wants more fuel. You probably need to tune your CVT as well. Look down on Brents post here and find where he tunes his CVT.

If I can't get it to go faster than stock why put a big bore kit in?. Okay so I tried putting the CDI from my 150cc in it and it would not work I then put the stock CDI from the 50cc and the two racing CDI eyes in my 150 and they all work so I don't understand why the other two won't work in the 50

Because they really aren't very good CDI's. Did you up jet your carb or tune your CVT to get that new power to your wheels?
