What size battery should I use on my 49cc Tao Tao Scooter, with a 100cc BBK in it, A 12V 4-AMP, or a 12V 6-AMP?

Like Brent said, bigger is better. I would install the largest capacity 12v battery I could fit in the battery tray. A pound or two extra only matters if you're building a racing scooter.
And as he mentioned, a larger capacity battery will help with starting but in general could also last longer as it will be less stressed.

An additional factor when using a battery with higher amperage capacity is that the starter motor is generally operated for less time per start because it can give the crankshaft a good turn rather than straining. Lower crank time per use should result in less overall crank time, and thus a longer service life. A battery with less amperage may not provide enough power(I^^2*R) to crank the engine fast enough, and thus would have to crank longer, leading to more wear. I think. The better you keep the engine, any engine, in tune, the less the wear on the starter, and the longer the starter lasts. A starter motor that must crank for more than a few seconds to get the engine to start will get hotter, and wear the brushes, armature, and bearings more quickly than one that succeeds within a short crank. tom

I always look at the cca or cA raitings (cold cranking amps or cranking amps) the higher this number the more power that can be put to the starter If you look at the scorpion agm batteries many of them put out close to double the stock ratings of oem batteries

I agree with everything above, I have been scearching for a better and lighter battery but no luck
I have now decided to remove electric starter, starter bendix, wires, selenoid etc...and I am only going to use my kick starter from now on,I will also install the smallest battery I can find since I wont be using electric starter anymore

Your call, but these CVT covers are known to break with much kick starting. If you do go that route, find TDC with the kicker before you have at it and don't just quickly repeatedly kick it. Get the lever in the right spot each time. May still break at some point.

I am aware of the risk, but thanks for reminding me Brent, I already broke one of my cvt covers but I was really using too much force and the engine was in the bad shape,it requred many kicks before it finally started.. Over years I came across of some really bad cvt covers but some of them are actually fairly decent, even the thickness is different on covers from different brands, you can also meassure the weight of the covers to compare them that way usually more weight=stronger cover

Handyman, check the suppliers on this site, Autozone and NAPA. Larger diameter cables a good idea also.
