Hey all......its almost time to ghostride this off a cliff. Funny thing is I'd have to push it. Well let's start off with it's an 09. It ran fine until it died. New battery install and would just get it to turn over. Throttle bogged anytime throttle was given. So found out fuel pump was ticking. Fuel pump swapped, air filter, new spark plug, new fuel filter. Tried again and idled fine but any throttle it would bog. Installed new pilot jet and jetted the carb like 10 times. For sure I thought this would fix it. No it didn't. So I swapped the carb out with a new one. Attached all hoses and now it wont kick over. It idled fine before with old carb now nothing. I can keep my finger on the start button and it wants to kick over but wont. Any help would be greatly appreciated !!!!!!!! Thanks

Stock motor? Bogs at take off (plugged SJ but u swapped it) most likely an air leak. Did you do anything else to the carb? Turn air screw? Post a pic

If everything was fine beforehand, I would suspect fuel contamination...water in the fuel. It happens a lot these days especially with the amount of alcohol in our gas. It happened to me on my 4T scoot and, like you said...it started and idled fine but any application of throttle would make it bog. Drain some fuel out into a clear container and look at it. If it is cloudy, that is the water mixed with the alcohol. If there is a lot of water...after sitting for a while, it will separate into two layers. If you see this, drain and use new fuel. Might not be it but free and simple to check.

It almost sounds like a vacuum leak...Check all lines...and especially the intake manifold (those are known failure points)
