is a 24mm carb too big for stock head?

Hello,

I wanted to switch to a carb that does not have an electronic choke.

How would this go with a 50mm BBK, Uni filter and exhaust?

I guess I would need a different manifold and for sure a different throttle cable. 



If this carb is too big, can you recommend one like it. No electronic choke...

With a 50mm BBK, I'd upgrade the head and carb at the same time if you wanna do this. Stock head is small for a 50mm BBK both in valve and port size and combustion chamber volume and the ports are small for a 24mm carb. You can port match the head to the intake, but you'll be taking a comparatively giant carb and intake and having them reduce till they meet a tiny valve.

Cool so i would need the 64mm valve rocker assembly too. (compatible with 64mm Short Valve Style Heads)


What about a nice non CVK style carb...a nd without electronic choke.

If you add up all the costs isnt it more economical to swap to 150cc for $220 shipped like you mentioned in another thread?
