Hi guys. Bought a 50cc 2 stroke scooter cvt that has been modified with70cc sports cylinder, technigas exhaust, sport variator, upgear kit, and was unrestricted. What i noticed just yesterday was that it runs fine and fast on flat but when i went to steep road and stopped on a traffic light, my scooter couldn't bear it and won't move on full rev haha. Is that the downside of the upgrade? And does the upgear kit cause it to start right away on the higher gear instead of the lowest gear on take off? Anyway i can fixed this or adjust it back to a smaller gear kit? New to scooters so i appreciate any help😁

I would try some CVT tuning first, clean and grease the torque driver, install stiffer clutch springs, and play around with different roller weights..Lots of info in the tech section!

It was just recently serviced. I heard about clutch springs. Should i go for 1000 or 1500? And will that give me good take off from a stop when driving up steepy roads? Seems like due to the upgrades my scooter doesnt go on 1st gear on take off.

Your PO built a speed machine not a street scoot, first step would be to try some heavy weights maybe 6g at least they should get you going,no easy answer though trial and error only way.
