To way in on a Silent pro. They are just a little louder than stock but not like a next R. I did see a small performance boost. The Wild Lion is also a nice option. If you use the stock air box the Next R isn't to bad, with an open filter it is loud.

got the reeds was having the same issue a lot of other ppl are with them not seating flush, but wouldnt the force of the motor push them closed? idk i dont notice any drop if anything its more consistent with the way it builds speed now. waiting on the belt still.
had a question about carbs, coming from 4strokes i never really noticed a huge diff with tuning the carb on my 50mm bbk 4strokes so i was wondering would a carb give me any performance gains with that 70cc kit? would that lead to a lot of tuning?
ordered the top performance kit not sure how long ill be waiting on that, also would that come with a new crank bearing? if not what would u guys suggest is a good improvement over the stock 1.

I would replace the wrist pin bearing when you replace the cylinder, if it doesn’t come with one just replace it with a oem Yamaha part. If your keeping the stock exhaust I don’t see the need to replace the carb, maybe just remove the airbox snorkel. If you swap out the exhaust then I could see reason to go with a 17.5 or 19mm that way you could keep the airbox. Regardless either way with the carb you’ll still have to check the tune with the new cylinder.

just purchased a 08 zuma completely stock for a pretty solid price, thing runs fairly good not sure how regular it was upkept but it does have 8.5k miles on it. so far all i want is a lil more speed i kno the throttles are limited so i need to figure that out, but what size jets do ppl run in these? are the open air filters usuable on these as well? ive heard mixed things on the uni filters with the 2 strokes. open to all info just trying to get maybe 40 mph with out much money into it.
