Hi so i had this issue with my yamaha jog 50 cc 2 stroke where it would almost die and it loses all power, and at that time it had no air filter, so today i bought a new air box or filter whatever you wanna call it and i also cleaned out the carburetor with carb clean, the bike didn't wanna start at first but it started, then when i wanna go somewhere it would just sound like it's gonna die all the way from. Idle to 3/4 throttle, and sounds very loud and vibrates like hell, it has an exhaust with no restrictions maybe that could be part of the problem, i really don't know what to do other than play around with the idle speed and mixture screws please if you know anything about this issue tell me about it

Did you make sure the jets were clear when you cleaned the carb? 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/363/carburetor-cleaningIs it the same symptom now as before the air filter? You say airbox or air filter, but which is it? Is it a stock replacement (big black box with a hose to attach to the carb) or an aftermarket pod filter (just a filter that clamps to the carb)? Here's a lot of carb tuning info that wouldn't be bad to read up on. www.49ccscoot.com/faq/carbtune.html
