Hey i have a 50 cc Jog and i got everything in tune and it seized, then it unseized it self and started up after some time but the Kickstarter is very light so it almost has no compression, i need to rebuild it now, any suggestions? Should i just replace the rings or should i replace the piston and cylinder? And what do you think about big bore kits? Should i do it or should i not ? And what are the pros and cons

If it was seizing on ya might as well go whole hog and replace the Cylinder and piston with either a good 50cc or 70cc kit. Most of the 70cc kits ive looked at for my wife's Vino come with a jet to place in you carb. Mind you if you go bigger you my need to replace your exhaust.

I've already got an unrestricted exhaust it's just a straight pipe, and btw i hate the yamaha vino i don't like how it rides i don't like how you sit on it i prefer the jog, and tell me about those 70 cc kits what brand did you buy and from where and how much did cost? What did you have to fabricate?

Got some problems if you "got everything in tune and it seized". That is not supposed to happen.

Hey i have a 50 cc Jog and i got everything in tune and it seized. That means the engine didn't get enough oil or cooling. Remove the oil pump and start premixing. Also check the cooling shrouds.
Then it unseized it self and started up after some time but the Kickstarter is very light so it almost has no compression, i need to rebuild it now, any suggestions? Should i just replace the rings or should i replace the piston and cylinder? Remove the cylinder and assess the damage. Post some pics here. And what do you think about big bore kits? Should i do it or should i not ? Do more research and draw your own conclusions. It's a straight pipe with mufflers all around...Never seen a pipe with 'mufflers all around'. Please post some pics. 49ccscoot.proboards.com/post/7984

It really was difficult to read before. Yes, pulling the brake and a locked up motor is a coincidence. Theres no causal relationship between those two events. btw, posting pics is explained here: 49ccscoot.proboards.com/post/7984Im really curious for some pics of that piston
