So the center stand, it no longer stays all the way up? Can you take some photos? Is the spring still on? Is anything bent?

I went ahead and just took off the centwr stand for now. Is it ok to drive the scootwr without the centwr stand on?

Just be a little more careful parking using the side stand. It'll be more prone to sinking in on soft surfaces and not quite as secure if it's windy or anyone messes with it. Usually the center stand has 2 springs. Often a small spring inside of a larger spring. If either of those were missing that could cause it. If the clip wasn't keeping the pin on place that could do it. Could be wear or damage to the stand or the case where it pins on. Could be that the post that the springs attach to got bent. Here's a pic of a working stand, just in case it's of any use. photo upload and link

Be careful leaving the scooter running unattended on the side stand. If the wheel spins at idle it will drive it off the stand. For the problem of the stand and sinking just carry a thin block of plywood to set under it or buy a stand puck. If it was me I would fix the stand to save those headaches. Brent has a great tutorial on how to put the springs back on.
