Hi! I have a Bws 100. The engine is basicly a big bore and stroked long case minarelli. I have droven abaut 6000km 150clock. Odo says 42000km and I have never check for carbon build up in head piston and exhauts port. But when i clean the pipe its a noticable differance in performance. And also there is a no power at 8000 rpm band. So should i unbolt the cylinder and clean or live as is? Engine is stock btw. Thanks of replies

Also i forgot the write. Engine is litle bit overheated at once because of oiling issues. Should i change the piston rings?

korayyzb,sounds like your behind on service in general so a decarb of the head and piston won,t hurt,the 100cc is rare beast on this forum so best to take general advice and adapt to suit,the piston rings should be ok but your overheating issues need sorting before she blows,as a stock yamaha it should run out of steam around 7000 rpm so unless you modify it,it is what it is.Check out the tech section for help,or ask here if your struggeling.
