50cc engine bogs bad. wife bought from inlaw. he said it bogged out from day 1 he bought brand new, dummy never brought back to get fixed. any how, I know enough about fixing engines so I though. All things I did so far, flushed out gas tank with vinegar over night then flush with rubbing alcohol get water out, replaced all gas hoses and gas filter. took off and cleaned out carburetor and checked all rubber plungers on carb. replaced with new intake manifold, new spark plug, gap set to what manual asks, reset valves according to manual, checked compression 220 psi. sounds high but check 3 times all same reading. also bought a new carb. and tried it no improvement, new vac. hose also, every thing I checked and rechecked on carb. valve setting plug gap ect. all correct.on center stand free wheeling it stumbles a bit but races up to high rpm. put on back brake or take for ride hits a speed of about 8 mph that's it no more. it seems to have a hollow sound struggling to go. ho even adjusting air screw all the way in don't even kill or make a difference in idle speed, I sprayed around carb. to see if idle speed changes nothing. I'm lost right now told has electronic ignition so setting time would not matter? like I said every thing I did was checked and rechecked I know enough about mechanics to make sure I did it wright. any one know what else to look at hoping not to go into engine if I don't have to but will if needed to.
