Hi i have a taotao 50 cc scooter, big bore kit on it to 100 cc. i put a new Stator on it and i have a 20 mm carb with new fuel lines and new spark pug, and a stock muffler. my problem is it wont start on it own unless i put carb starter in the carb. but when its running it runs great. in till i turn it off. then when i try to restart it. it wont start on it's own. is there anything i can do to fix this? please help...

I would also check the flow of your fuel valve or anything to do with possibly impeding on your fuel system. Like remove the gas tank line before the fuel valve and check for free flow, then do the same with the fuel filter on.
You can also check your starting circuit for bad connections. Such as your ignition coil wires make sure they're tight plus your battery terminals.

Definitely take a look at the idle adjustment. If it will idle strongly when warmed up, it should start right up when cold if the enricher is working. If the warm/hot idle is goofy, it is even worse when the engine is cold, so get the hot idle set well, and see what happens. tom
