Hello So im planning to modify my current scooter a little bit, its not exactly a honda metro but it looks almost identical. Im sure most parts will fit and if not they can always be made to.
Im having a little trouple finding a fuel tank, you see mine is in the upper rear now, so it have to be moved to the floor. So a preferably a cheap honda metro tank or something close to it.
Next is the seat mount, I dont know what people do here? But im thinkinng just finding a nice seat and just weld up a mount for it. But maybe there is already a bolt on mount out there.
Any help finding parts or quick guidance will be most appreciated.
Cheers Mag

If it's a Chinese clone, don't be too sure that stuff will fit. It may, I'm not sure. I know that I've heard Chuckus (Chinese Ruckus clone) owners say that some parts fit or fit with work and some don't. You could make anything fit if you really wanted to, but it may not be worth it. Don't recall any lists of what does and doesn't for sure. Obviously no drivetrain parts work since they're totally different powerplants.

The frame on a Chinese Met clone isn't made for what your looking to do. It's gonna take a whole bunch of work, and like @90gtvert stated, it's most likely not worth it. Unless you are or have access to a really talented fabricator, it's going to be... questionable.

Im not going to make a metruck per-say, but more like a metruck styled scooter. the scooter I will be using is a sym mio. I will be using the original frame, but I will extend the engine mount to get the correct stand. something like this guy has done to an kymco agility www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-lhLCFkdOoBut of cause with a little better finish.
