Those are Chinese KOSO knockoffs.
I'm gonna rant here for a second because I see this constantly on the forum, and it chaps my ass.
Guys, I get that everyone is always looking for a less expensive way to get what we want. Life is hard and stuff is expensive. I totally understand that. However, if you find what looks to be a quality branded part on Aliexpress for wayyy less expensive that what the brands sell for from the companies that are designated to represent the brands, you can be assured that it's most likely a cheap knockoff. Gates, Bando, KOSO, Naraku... if you see it for an obnoxiously low price it's completely buyer beware.

Okay thanks for your input.
Just out of curiosity I compared the specs from the naraku with the "koso" clutch and bell. They appear to weigh about the same, and the welds on the clutch bell is identical to the naraku.
Either they are getting super good at making copies or they really come from the same factory.
It seems like naraku just throw there sticker on it and charge 3 times as much.

The authentic Taiwanese product is notably better, and production quality is far more consistent out of Taiwan as well. Matt

It just strikes me a bit weird that weight matches the naraku. I could maybe understand if the weight was way below, you know if they just used junk metal.
They surely got me fooled.

I fell for the Koso knockoff when I was a noob in the scoot world. First upgrade I bought, got it from eBay, and it was the Koso variator but it came with the 3 sets of three weights and the blue springs. Run-of-the-mill China copy. The first thing to fail was the backplate slide tabs, they got damaged and allowed the variator to wiggle around causing the "oilite" bushing to wallow out. I checked out the link you posted, magoconnor and what's strange is yes... those look like Naraku parts with Koso packaging, one copy, with a copy for a copy. WTF?! These "importers" will try to fool ya with fancy packaging on cheap parts and as we see here, the wrong fancy packaging! Honestly, those parts will work. Nothing wrong with the bell, I've used it. BUT- that clutch could be made out of cheaper quality metal and physically brake a clutch shoe, as mine did as well. Yeah, I played the cheapo-game in my first year of scootin' and as they say: you live and you learn. Now others can learn from my mistakes, mishaps, what have you.

Yeah I will probably just go for the bell. What brand of clutch would you recommend?
I do have a semi race build (not a daily commuter) and I tend to do alot of hard starting.
Its funny, I was looking at a stage6 clutch bell, it appears to come in different weights to choose from. Would a lighter clutch bell aide acceleration?

I would say yes, a lighter bell will aid in acceleration. Any spinning mass needs energy to spin, less mass, less energy wasted in spinning it up... I noticed this with a super light clutch shoe setup. Less bite to the bell, engaged right around 6k rpms but once it was engaged the throttle was snappier. I didn't like the way it slipped at take off, made me think it was more for a 2 stroke that revvs higher than a 4 stroke but idk. I didn't spend much time tuning that clutch.
I've had best luck with heavier shoes and tighter springs, the heavier shoes just aiding in biting the bell. If you want the best for launching, Dr Pulley HiT clutches are the BEST. Different shoe/spring setups for different engagements, but once set up correctly you'll pull off the line harder than you've ever felt.
