So I rode the scoot to work today. It's a Jonway 150cc. It ran just fine all the way there and I parked it and all seemed just fine. I went to leave and it would not start. It cranked over just fine but wouldn't even try to start, no hint of even trying. I had an old CDI and plug wire/coil from my 50cc and switched them out thinking that might be it. Same thing. I pulled the plug and held it to ground and I could not see any spark. The plug was wet so looks like fuel is getting there. I did have an old spark plug but made no difference.
I was able to push the scoot inside and leave it at work but I have to get there early tomorrow to get it out because I don't want the store to smell like gas. Looks like I might have to push it home if I can't find out what happened.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing no spark all of a sudden? I don't think anyone was messing with it while I was at work but it's parked where I can't see it.

I had a similar experience. Ran fine to destination, would not restart. Swapped plug & CDI with no luck. After some testing it ended up being the stator. This my not be in your case, you will have test yours to verify.

Kill switch? Plug wire loose in the cap or coil? Side stand switch? Sometimes its the simple stuff.
