38:1 is suuuuuper rich for a street driven scoot. Unless you're running a 10hp+ 50-70cc or using acient low grade mineral oil go with 50:1.

Interesting, my scoots are all 8-10 hp and certainly not over 10hp, but I have always used and heard that 40:1 is best for modded scoots. Might have to reevaluate, though 100ml per gallon is such an easy conversion.

Too much confusion scooternube. Go to any local motorcycle shop that sells items for two-strokes. BUY a Ratio-RITE and learn. It is a tapered cylinder that has graduations for many ratios. Find the one you want and fill to the number of gallons you wish to add. DONE! Ratio Rites have been around since...uhhh, the 60's?? I am 62 and still use one. Eliminates thinking, unless you brain fart on fuel quantity. Looks like that at the store... Or this from the front.

Seems logical if you're mixing by gal:ratio but not once I've filled up at equal to a gal. on my scoot, I usually fill up at half or little less than half tank, like yesterday I filled up .8 of a gal. and just multiplied .8 with 2.6 on my phones calculator and it gives me exactly how much oil I need to put in the tank.

Syringes also work well for measuring. Some of them swell when exposed to gasoline though.
1 ounce is about 30cc, -use a calculator
Oz x 30 = cc

That’s my method, I just carry a 100cc syringe for easy measuring on the go.

I carry a little plastic bottle under the seat. A local dollar store, The Dollar Tree carries these small "energy shot" drinks that are about 3oz with a bigger 20oz soda pop size lid. I keep that about 3/4 full of oil and ready to mix with a gallon of fuel at the pump when needed.
