Im sure i said something about this in another thread but im getting tired of dumping oil in my scooter just for it to leak right out. I have decent puddles of 2t oil everyday and just want it to stop lol . as you can see i tried to zip tie it tighter but no luck .Is it a pain to change the oil line?

If you have room cut of the last 5mm pipe. They do stretch over time. Had the same problem on my oil pump. The clip was not fitting tight with the new pipe. When fitted with a cable tie like yours it leaked also. I fixed it with fitting a much smaller cable tie. The one you are using can not pull tight all the way round on such tight radius.

A zip tie is useless at that small of a diameter. The locking body is flat so your not sealing the whole diameter of the fitting. Just replace and bleed the new line

As long as it’s the carb side of the pump it’s just a matter of replacing it. You’ll still need to get oil bled through the new line. The tank to pump line if replaced you’ll have to bleed the pump by loosening the screw on the side to let the air out.

Cut the hose back some and reinstall if you can find a factory hose clamp get it . That zip tie does not give even pressure all the way around and your line leaks plus your probably sucking air and leaning your mixture. If your hose is long and you can cut it back and reinstall it will probably be tighter and not leak .

Safety wire works good for hose clamps actually. You can use a technique that is better than the clamp with safety wire, it's just a pain to remove .
