So I have a 2009 sunbeam 49cc 2 stroke, and it was sitting for a few years before I got it.
I cleaned the carb and changed the plug, and got it to the point where it starts up cold very easily, and will idle normally for a few minutes before the idle starts to drop. I can get it to stay running if I rev it up, but if I let the throttle go it will die, and be unable to start for a minute or two after it dies.
Any suggestions?

Adjust your idle speed a little higher. When you start it cold your choke kicks on. Raising your idle speed. Once the choke thinks it’s warm. Your idle speed will drop down. Anywhere around 2,000 will keep it running. Once you got it running. Check out the tech section there’s a 90gtvert YouTube video on how to adjust your fuel/air ratio screw after adjusting your idle speed. 👍

If I turn the idle screw any further the wheel starts to move, could it be the choke going bad? Maybe its going lean when it gets hot because the choke isn't closing
