Hi - I'm looking for a new clutch for the 2005 Zuma. It has a Malossi 70cc sport bbk and I'm getting the Yasuni R pipe. Also, Malossi MultiVar. 17.5 Dellorto carb. Thinking of getting new clutch. Who knows how old the one is on there, and it's probably just stock. Bike has 16k miles and I bought it about a month ago. Just got it running recently and working on mods to get to high performance for a sport build.
In the spirit of 'doing it right', I'm looking at Malossi Fly Clutch and MHR Bell, and figure I should go with 107mm. One place I called said it would work with stock Torque Driver.
Questions: What do you think of Fly Clutch and MHR Bell? Should I go with 107mm? Will that work with stock TD? Should I buy a TD, and if so, any recommendations?
Thx!! Jack

The Fly is constructed like a stock clutch. One of the performance clutches with removable spring seats, like the Malossi Delta, makes swapping springs infinitly easier.

I agree with Thomas in regards to the Malossi Fly. I tried one. I wanted higher clutch engagement than what the Fly springs would get. I bought a set of MHR springs and tried to install it on the Fly but it was damn near impossible to get the lightest of the MHR springs onto the Fly. You are better off spending more and getting the Delta.
If you go the 107mm bell route, you can use DIO clutches as well. I have used a Polini 2-shoe, Malossi Fly, and a Stage6 torque control. All 3 of the clutches were labeled as "DIO".

I bought that exact package for my Vespa S and I'm very happy with it. It allows you to do incremental tunes on all of the springs. Don't forget a selection of torsion springs to go with it.
