I’d bet you will sell those imports, since they have been unavailable for some time. It’s dissapointing to hear that 2t’s are dying out. I thought something was amiss when nobody jumped on that pipe I’m selling. I’m bucking the trend- it’s too much fun just to give up on!

Have the 2t chinarelli import motors been hard to get? I know the 90cc stuff was, but I thought the 49cc motors were still available.

I’d find a “kit” engine interesting. Seems EPA. couldn’t block a pile of parts,
I’d like to put my hands on one of the AM6 clones but haven’t run across any for sale in the US.

I wonder how much interest could be drummed up.... I couldn’t afford 20 but there’s an off chance could make a group buy happen by putting it out there in the moped world....

Yeah I might grab a set off stock cases if/when you get them in stock

I have a Chinese longcase complete motor I got off a zuma I bought. Brand-new replacement that someone bought online. I was gonna toss it haha but i guess I'll keep it. It's mostly just a pile of cheap Chinese parts, I wouldn't trust it not to seize a bearing or or something. But if they are un-obtainable I guess I'll keep it. Maybe I'll buy some hyper race 90cc parts and keep em for a while.

Like I said earlier, they can make a decent street engine so long as you aren't looking to breath fire or anything. Some of those engines really go for the long haul. Matt

Matt I've heard the Chinese long case has a thicker area around the crank wheel, so when you machine it out for larger cranks you have more surface area for gasketing. I got this motor running when I first got the Zuma, but it sounded real bad even though it was brand new. I'm pretty sure it's one of the low-quality Chinese ones.

You can actually build a zuma motor from brand new parts pretty cheap. Cases aren't that bad, and almost everything else gets swapped for after market stuff. I'd like to know where I can read about this!

I think ryanott built a motor from parts bought from them Yes I put together a new engine from available Yamaha parts. Depending on how “new” you want it will run the price up. Just the 2 case halves are reasonable. Hardware, clips and bearings run the cost up. The cvt cover was only $8. There are some pics and building of the new engine around page 27/28 of my Zuma build. Pm me if you want a parts list. I’ve built up the chinarelli engines and they are thicker in areas, the cvt doesn’t need clearancing for a OR, they really aren’t a bad design at all. If you build one with a decent crank they will last a very long time and take the abuse. Just look at what Brent puts them through.
