I got a super jog 50 cc it's an amazing bike, all stock nobody has ever touched it with a screwdriver, until it died on me yesterday, i was going home got to my uturn turned my indicator on and it died, tried starting it back up, nothing! Pushed it home, put a new spark plug in it, tried starting it, won't fire, opened the airbox and tried blocking the air so it'll get rich and start, it started it will rev for a few seconds and it will stall and die, did this a couple of times, tried cleaning the carburetor with using a carb cleaner because i didn't have one and it was pretty late, i used fuel to clean it, i put everything back together still wouldn't start, and it doesn't have a battery so i was using the Kickstarter, and if i crank too hard for some reason it won't engage and make a grinding noise, so you'd have to crank it slowly, i don't wanna open the clutch cover to clean it because nobody has opened it before, anyways, what do you think? Also sorry i know i wrote a lot lol

You're going to have to put on your big boy pants and remove the CVT cover to see what the grinding is all about.

If it is a stock factory cvt and hasn't been touched like you say. There's probably just a gasket in between the case and cover. I'm sure there's a purpose for such a gasket but the scoot doesn't need it to operate. Besides if it's the first time entering your cvt you can probably save the gasket by removing the cvt cover carefully. Anyway sounds like it's time for a compression test. If it's not starting. See what that reads then go from there.

You're pretty confident seeing you haven't done a compression test or removed the exhaust and looked up in to the exhaust port to see if there are any signs of soft seize. FYI, Oil injector pumps(if you not running premix) and metal engine parts do not last forever.

Have you checked your turn signal bulb sockets, sometimes the spring loaded plastic piece, inside the socket that holds the positive wire, cracks/breaks causing the bulb socket to short out.
Have you checked the wiring harness under the front fairing. I pinched/broke several wires before from turning the handle bar to the stop/lockout. My fork crushed/broke/pinched the wires. Basically smashed the wires between the lockout plate and the fork.
Just my thoughts, being that you said it happened at your U-turn and it involved your indicator.

When you said it "doesn't have a battery" do you mean it's flat, or you have no battery connected?

Guys this is an old post, anyways the after a week or so it hit me, i only cleaned the jets, turns out something was in the gallery where fuel enters the carburetor and when the carburetor gets full the needle wont seal properly so, i cleaned it and it fired up, just a heads up, it's still running, but i had this problem happen to me on multiple occasions, so i cleaned the tank and put 2 filters, never had a problem with it since
