I am in the process of building my first scooter project. The engine I have is a from a 2008 F-act 50 2t. It has the stock expansion chamber on it.
Is the stock chamber decent, or is it a "looks like a chamber" chamber. I plan on putting the thing together and getting it sorted before I dive into any performance work. I'm sure I will do a performance top end and carb. Do I need a different pipe when I do?
Part of the build plan is to cerakote whatever pipe I end up with. If the stock pipe is crap, I don't want to waste money coating it.

It’s good for a paper weight. I believe someone cut one up I’ll see if I can find pictures but it’s more looks then go. I think it’s just a standard exhaust inside.

Thanks heaps! Sneaky of them. I'M glad I came across this forum. Exactly the kind of knowledge I was hoping for. Paperweight it shall be. I'm going to start out with a cheap Ebay pipe that I found a link to on a thread here.
Nothing is cooler sounding than a 2 stroke coming on the pipe.

I think they are actually decent just cut it in half remove the honeycomb weld back together . The Hurricane has the same motor as the F act But the hurricane was one of the fastest stock scooters i have ever rode after you removed the baffle and the throttle stop . Boom the thing took off and was reliable as can be , They had one issue oil pumps leaking all the time
