Hello,
I bought a Kymco Like II 50i 4-stroke with fuel injection about 6 months ago. I have been looking around for upgrade parts, but cannot find anything.
It currently tops at 45 km/h and I would like to increase the top speed and acceleration a bit. Is it possible to do anything with this scooter?
Someone suggested trying different roller weights, but thought i possibly could get either a bit higher top speed, or a bit better acceleration.
I am fairly new to scooters and don't know much.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Congratulations and that is a relatively new scoot and there isn't much information out there on it. Tuning your CVT is always a good place to start. Buried in this thread is info on variation tuning 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/1712?page=1#25984. Here is a link to how to look for derestrictions 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/345 I wouldn't go throwing a big bore kit or an exhaust on it yet, I just went looking for your fuel Injected model at Racing Planet and they don't list it. CDI's for the carbed 4 stroke Like probably won't work for the Fi and that maybe your big restrictor. There is a Kymco forum that you might find more info on. But I would start with the CVT to get a little better pick up and maybe a few more KMPH out of it.

Wow thanks for the information! Will definitely check those links out and see if I can do anything with the CVT. I first was at the Kymco forum, but they couldn't give much advice, they redirected me to other forums, like here //Alexander
