I just got done installing my 100cc bbk and now she wont start, its making spark, has compression but wont turn over. Any ideas?

Update: she is timed correctly, she starts with starting fluid but wont run at idle. If i wot she will keep running.

The idle circuit may be off. Have you adjusted the A/F mixture at idle? Here is a link to a thread that will help 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/429. Are you using the stock air box and stock carb?

Mebbe you jostled crud in the bottom of the carburetor and it got sucked into the main/idle jets? If the float itself got jammed during disassembly or re-assembly, it could be limiting fuel flow into the float bowl. Running on starting fluid indicates a lack of normal fuel flow, either from the tank, through the petcock, through the filter, through the float valve, or through the idle/main jet. A doubling of the volume being drawn at idle(50>100) would likely fiddle with the fuel flow through the idle circuit. I think I would try turning the idle mixture adjust screw out a bit, perhaps 1/2 turn. Doing a little adjustment on the hard stop(throttle stop) screw, perhaps 1/2 CW turn for startup, would increase the flow. tom
